Susan A. Duchman, MBA, BSN, RN, NEA-BC

Susan Duchman, MBA BSN, RN, NEA-BC presently serves as Vice President, Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at UPMC Susquehanna.

Susan has served in a variety of leadership roles within Susquehanna nursing and administration, including positions in acute and outpatient care, leading the creation of the Heart and Vascular Institute and Administrator of Williamsport Hospital.

Susan served as Chief Nurse for Susquehanna Health prior to transitioning to the role of Chief Transition Officer. As Chief Nurse, she led the nursing team through a major construction project and renovation of all acute care areas and the Emergency Department.

As Chief Transition Officer, Susan leads the strategic initiatives for an ACO and care coordination across the continuum, impacting quality and cost of care.

Presently administrative lead for the hospitalists team, Ms. Duchman is collaborating on the plan for enhanced physician communication and engagement in the patient experience.

Ms. Duchman is a transformational leader that demonstrates her commitment to both clinical excellence and patient experience.
