UPMC Community Osteopathic

Sandra is the Chief Nursing Officer of UMPC Community Osteopathic and UPMC Community Osteopathic Vice President – Surgical Services.

Sandra received her BSN from Albright College, her MSN from Villanova University and her MHS from St. Joseph’s University.

Sandra has worked for UPMC Pinnacle since 1982 in a variety of roles including staff nurse, nurse educator, manager, and director.

In 2014, Sandra was responsible for the opening of Perioperative Services at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore and later assisted in the centralization of UPMC Lancaster/Lititz and in 2019 the opening of the new UPMC Memorial.

Sandra successfully integrated Perioperative Services of the seven UMPC Pinnacle hospitals and was responsible for establishing standardization of policies, procedures and quality nursing care.

Sandra has oversight for the UMPC Pinnacle Surgery Optimization Clinic which sees increased referrals every year and consistently outperforms national benchmarks in quality indicators.
